The Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzSBI) will present 5 workshops in the month of June. These workshops include two Smart Start: Developing a Successful Business in Birch Tree and at OzSBI; and Small Ag Producer Workshop; Time Management Essentials – a Business Women First Luncheon; and Employee Engagement & Retention, all at OzSBI.
Smart Start: Developing a Successful Business is a free course offered by OzSBI that teaches entrepreneurs and small business owners the critical first steps involved with starting a small business and sets up a roadmap for success. Attendees will learn the ins and outs of starting a business, how and why to create a business plan, and how to understand the finances from the start. Both of the scheduled workshops will be facilitated by Autumn Shirley and Gene Weinbeck. The first workshop will be held in Birch Tree at the Life360 Birch Tree building on June 6 from 2:00 to 4:30 pm and the second workshop will be held Tuesday, June 25 from 2:00 to 4:30 pm at OzSBI.
The Small Ag Producer Workshop will be held June 12 from 12:00 to 3:00 pm facilitated by the Missouri State Darr College of Agriculture and the University of Central Missouri Department of Agriculture. This workshop is a great opportunity for agricultural producers who are looking to enhance their digital communication and marketing skills. All attendees of this free workshop will be provided with lunch and have the opportunity to network with other agricultural producers. There is no cost but registration is required.
Leadership Development & Coaching Strategist Kirsten Andersen will be coming to OzSBI twice this month. First, she will be facilitating Time Management Essentials – a Business Women First Luncheon on June 13 from 11:30 to 1:00 pm. This workshop will teach participants the secrets to maximizing productivity and achieving goals. Secondly, she will teach Employee Engagement & Retention on June 26 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
