Dawn Garner with Root Essence Esthetics has recently opened in the Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzSBI). Dawn is a licensed esthetician offering holistic and modern services at 414 Washington Ave in West Plains. She offers a variety of services including facials, massages, dermaplaning, and more. 

Dawn first approached OzSBI for advice starting a business last Fall. She had recently completed esthetician school but did not know where to start when it came to opening a business or writing a business plan. She participated in an OzSBI Smart Start: Developing a Successful Business course, and then began meeting almost weekly with a business mentor to create a business plan, calculate her startup costs, and build her cash flow projections. Finally, she was ready to sign the lease for a storefront office in OzSBI, which opened for business on Tuesday, September 12th.
