The Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzSBI) is honored to receive 2026 50% tax credits from the Missouri Department of Economic Development through the Small Business Incubator Tax Credit Program. The tax credits are available through December 31, 2026.  This program enables small business incubators to leverage local donations to fund eligible non-operating expenditures that support entrepreneurship and new business creation throughout Missouri. 

OzSBI uses donations received through the tax credit program to expand its outreach across the seven counties it serves: Douglas, Howell, Oregon, Ozark, Shannon, Texas and Wright. OzSBI staff travel throughout the region to teach business classes, help aspiring entrepreneurs navigate business licensing and registration, and mentor existing business owners in areas such as finance, marketing and operations.  

A portion of the funding will also support maintenance and ongoing improvements to OzSBI’s facility. These investments allow OzSBI to continue offering below-market rental rates, helping startup entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses with fewer barriers.

This is available to both individuals and businesses in the state of Missouri.  Donating through the tax credit program is an excellent way to keep your hard-earned tax dollars in your local economy while realizing a significant income tax credit.
