For Women: Becoming a Powerful Force in Your Workplace

Women in business have unique challenges. This training module addresses common mistakes made by women in the areas of assertiveness, communication, professional appearance, finding mentors, and more. The workshop will meet professional women right where they are, help them connect with others' experiences and stories, and help them stop undermining their own credibility and leadership potential. Each participant will emerge with a greater understanding of her professional "footprint" and how to increase her influence and impact to serve the organization and reach her professional goals.

Participants will:
  • Understand the unique challenges of women in the workforce
  • Discover some of their main credibility-robbing behaviors
  • Learn about implicit bias
  • Learn to identify their "why"
  • Begin to communicate more assertively
  • Discover what it means to "lean in"
  • Identify mentors and sponsors within their sphere of influence
  • Connect with the experiences and stories of other female business leaders
