Join OzSBI and Arvest Privacy Risk Management staff for a free presentation on mitigating cyber-crime threats impacting businesses, non-profits, and public sector entities. Discussion will cover:
- Characteristics: how the frauds work, victim selection, perpetration methods
- Protection: education; technical & business process enhancements; fraud loss liability
- Detection: account monitoring, warning signs, anti-virus software
- Response: compromised computer handling and reporting suspicious activity
The presentation will also include federal law enforcement agency guidance.

Jon Pascoe serves as Director of Privacy Risk Management for Arvest Bank and its affiliates. He has been employed by Arvest for thirty-one years and developed the bank’s information security, privacy, and identity theft prevention programs addressing the protection of customer information. Jon formerly served as Senior Vice President and Compliance Officer for Arvest Wealth Management. He earned a degree in finance from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, is certified by the State of Arkansas as a Law Enforcement Instructor for financial crimes, and holds Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP) certifications.
