Krista Hinrichs, Trade Manager for Asia with the Missouri International Trade and Investment Office (MITI) will explore why exporting is important and how it can benefit your small business. This workshop will provide an overview of Missouri’s export services and programming available to you including accessing financial assistance to participate in trade shows and missions to market your products to a worldwide audience.

Krista Hinrichs first started with the Missouri Department of Economic Development in 2006. She coordinates the state’s efforts with Missouri’s foreign offices in Seoul, Republic of Korea; Tokyo, Japan and Shanghai, China. She assists Missouri businesses with exporting throughout the Asia region.
Krista is a native from Illinois but spent much of her childhood at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri at her family vacation home. She is a graduate from Murray State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Global Studies. She was the recipient of the International Education Award and attended Kansai Gaidai University in Hirakata, Japan.
Krista is a Certified Global Business Professional and enjoys working with Missouri companies in exploring international opportunities.
