Advanced Excel For Business
This Advanced Excel workshop will provide an overview of some of the more complex features of Excel. Anyone taking the course should have a good understanding of the basics of Excel like building a worksheet, entering data and simple functions/calculations.

Participants will receive a good understanding of these topics, plus reference materials to help answer questions that come up in the future.

To reserve your seat in this workshop, payment must be received in advance of the workshop. OzSBI does not reimburse for canceled workshops; instead, you will receive credit in the amount of the workshop cost. The credit can be applied towards other workshops or events during the same year. It will become a donation to OzSBI if not used by December 31st, 2019.

After graduating from University of Northern Iowa (UNI) with a BS in Mathematics in 1977, Brian went on to work in the airline industry for 35 years building Airline Reservation Systems. Brian was the Chairman of the Technical Working Group of the Airline Transport Association (ATA) that built the technical requirements for Electronic Ticketing processing in the early 90's. Brian also worked on several Baggage Handling committees for the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Brian worked in several areas of air travel reservations (Baggage, Seat Assignment, Fuel Management, Revenue Accounting and Catering), but was recognized as an expert in Fare Quote, Pricing and Ticketing.
During his career, Brian worked for several major airlines (United, Northwest and USAirways), as well as several companies that supported airlines (Anderson Consulting/Accenture, Open Skies and Galileo Systems). Most recently Brian worked for Google managing the Support Technical Team for their Google Travel Systems (see Google.com/flights). This system provides Air Travel options for all domestic travel websites (i.e. American Airlines, United Airlines, Delta Airlines, Orbitz, Kayak, etc.) as well as Travel websites worldwide (Al Nippon Airways, Al Italia, Virgin Atlantic and Turkish Airways as an example).
Brian retired to the West Plains area 4 years ago, and currently manages the rental properties that he owns with his wife Diana. They enjoy travel, and the relaxing lifestyle of the West Plains area.
