In this workshop, attendees will learn the ins and outs of small business taxation and how to minimize tax liabilities.
Attendees will walk away with a working knowledge of:
- How your business structure affects your tax liability, and how to choose the right structure for your business
- What kinds of expenses can be deducted, and when
- Accounting and recordkeeping requirements for small business owners

Gabe Chambers, CPA, has over 15 years of accounting and management experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Master of Science in Business Administration. At Hawkins, Yarber & Chambers, CPAs, Gabe specializes in taxes and small business accounting/consulting. Having spent time as a bank controller and CFO, he has a working knowledge of cash flows, bank financing and management reporting. Gabe is also a member of the West Plains Rotary Club and Missouri Society of CPAs.
