If you are an entrepreneur in Douglas, Howell, Oregon, Ozark, Shannon, Texas and Wright Counties, we welcome you to take advantage of the services of the Incubator as either a Tenant Client or Non-tenant (home-based) Client. We work with people wanting to launch a business in the region or expand an existing one. All you really need to do is let us know that you are interested in our services and we will guide you through the process. Getting started with OzSBI is as simple as a phone call, email or fax.

See which services we offer that you think might help you.   If you don't see what you need, let us know!  We love getting new ideas.
Check out the various membership levels and client options. Get a sense of where you probably fit now and what your growth path might be.   (Don't worry about knowing all this now - we'll be there to guide you.)

Step Two: Contact Us

Our application and membership forms are being revised, so in the meantime, tell us about yourself and your aspirations. We'll get back to you and get the process started!

Step Three: Client Application Review

If you're a prospective Client, the team at OzSBI will review your application and call you with questions. Once complete, the OzSBI team will make a determination as to the appropriate next step(s) which may include:

• An initial meeting with OzSBI team members to better understand your business needs and opportunities (Step 4).

• A direct referral to one of the OzSBI resources - like the Small Business and Technology Development Center, Procurement Technical Assistance Centers, or an OzSBI mentor.
  
  

Step Four: Initial Meeting

If you are invited for an initial meeting at OzSBI, you will be asked to provide as much information prior to the meeting as possible (e.g., business plan, marketing study, financials). (Don't worry if you don't have any of this. We'll help you get started.) At this meeting, we will listen to your needs and ask you questions to help us better understand the current condition of your business or business idea.

Step Five and Beyond

The OzSBI team will review the outcome of the initial meeting and will make a determination as to the next appropriate step which may include:

• Outline of action items to help you achieve your goals.

• A direct referral to the appropriate professional / technical resource.

• Become a client and engage with OzSBI, taking advantage of all the services and resources available to you.
