Michael Hoff was born and raised in Howell County. 2016 marks his 42nd year in banking, having started at the Bank of Mountain View, Mo., in 1974. In March, of 2007, he joined locally-owned Community First Banking Company, as Executive Vice-President and Chief Lending Officer. In January, 2016, he was promoted to Senior EVP, and Chief Lending Officer, where he also serves on the bank’s Board of Directors. Michael is the Chairman of the West Plains Planning and Zoning Commission, for the City of West Plains. He is a member of the West Plains Noon Rotary Club and is a Paul Harris Fellow with that organization. The West Plains Chamber of Commerce selected him as the 2015 West Plains Citizen of the Year. During his career, Michael has worked with many businesses, both start-up and existing enterprises, as well as served as a member of many civic organizations, including several local Chambers of Commerce, and other civic boards and advisory groups.
Mark Sloan is Vice-President and Commercial Lender, at Community First Banking Company, joining the bank in the fall of 2016. He is a native of Missouri and spent a good portion of his summers in West Plains with his grandparents, Clyde and Ruth Stewart. Mark Served ten years in the U.S. Coast Guard where he worked in Law Enforcement and Search and Rescue. During his time in the military, Mark obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from St. Mary’s College of California in Moraga, CA.
Mark has approximately 15 years of banking experience since starting his career with Bank of America, in Kansas City, where he managed multiple Banking Centers. He then accepted a position as a Commercial/Agricultural Lender with Marshall & Ilsley in Shawnee, KS. Before coming to Community First, in West Plains, Mark served as the Branch Manager/Vice President of the Capital Farm Credit office in San Antonio, TX.
