A team of three Techstars Startup Weekend participants were selected as first place winners for their innovative business pitch for a “chuckwagon,” an on-the-go kitchen for campers. Over 40 people participated in Startup Weekend West Plains, which was held October 19-21 at the Ozarks Small Business Incubator. Startup Weekend is a 54-hour event where attendees pitch ideas, form teams and learn how to build a company in a weekend. West Plains is the smallest city in the U.S. to host a Startup Weekend event.

We're excited to have ZCAPS-West Plains at OzSBI during the 2018 school year! ZCAPS is a career readiness program with West Plains Schools - Home of the Zizzers. Students are fully immersed in a professional culture, solve real world problems and are mentored by actual employers.
